Jayda Elle Blake is HERE!

Baby Jayda (Ashleys daughter) arrived late last night. More details and a picture to come. PLEASE please keep them in your prayers. She is doing good for now, but that can change anytime! She is 1 lb. 9oz. and looks like a barbie doll.

Be back later with details!

Okay back with the details of sweet Jayda Elle.

As you know Ashley's water broke (not completely) last week and she has been spent the last week and a half in the hospital. Well, yesterday her water broke completely. I got a call from Ash during a session and was told that they would probably be having her that night. I got the call at 11:30 that Jayda had been born and they were stabilizing her and it is really touch an go right now.

A few hours after Ash's water broke the nurse really urged the Dr. to check her and thank goodness he did! As soon as he checked her he could feel her little foot coming out. They rushed Ashley to the delivery room and had the baby out via c-section within 5 minutes. She cried a little and was kicking all over the place. She is a fighter. They had to restrain her legs because she was kicking so much. She weighs 1 lb. 9oz. and is 13 inches long. During the c-section the Dr.s cut Jayda's arm and they had to stitch her up. She is trying to breath on her own, but they have her on a breathing machine. Things are looking very well right now and I couldn't be happier about that. They did warn Ashley and Chase that just because today might be good doesn't mean everyday will be. There will be hard days ahead. They told her that preemies will fight so hard that some days they just kind of give up and those are the days they need to be prepared for. But if she is anything like Ashley she will fight so hard!

Ashley is doing well and both her and Chase are just really exhausted. They are parent's now and that is so awesome for them! I know they will be the best parent's to that little girl.

Here are some pictures of baby Jayda. You can see just how tiny she is. I took these off of Chase's facebook and my mom will get some more in the next few days. So I will post those when I get them.

I thank you all so much for your prayers. Please continue to pray for them. This will be a long journey and they have a tough road ahead. My faith has grown 110% through all of this and I know without a shadow of doubt that Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ are in our lives daily and bless us even through our trials and tribulations.

Jayda will forever be one of the most special people in my life!

funny pictures and an update

The other day we drove up to Nun's park and walked up to the waterfall in Provo canyon. At the bottom of the waterfall there is a little pool area where everyone likes to get their feet wet. It was really fun and I love that it is only 10 minutes away.

I told Sadie to only get her feet wet. She got daring and well.....hahahaha
(you gotta click on the pic to make it bigger. Her face is priceless)

Jess being crazy ol Jess. I love this pic.

Ash is still in the hospital. They have run some tests and have done some ultrasounds and it looks like the baby has an obstruction or blockage in her stomach. They said it looks different than the "normal" blockage, so they are not 100% positive on what it is. They will have to wait until the baby is born to know for sure. If it is the blockage then the baby will have to come to Salt Lake for surgery. They also told Ash that a blockage can sometimes be a sign of Down Syndrome. She of course is worried about that, but everyone including her high risk doctor feel that everything will be fine in that regard.

They were talking about sending her home (which Ashley did not want) She felt much safer there and likes that the baby is being monitored 24/7. On Sunday she started bleeding and leaking again, so they decided that she will stay for sure the rest of the pregnancy. They said she is actually very lucky because normally women who's water has broken so early usually leak and such whenever they move...but Ashley only has had it that one day.

We are all feeling very positive about everything and she and Chase and the baby are all doing well. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. They are much needed right now.

----I find out what I am having next week and I am really excited. I will be totally shocked if this one is not a boy. This pregnancy has been soooo different. Either way though, I am so happy right now. I am loving life.

Say a little prayer

My little sister Ashley went into labor on Monday morning. Normally that would be a very good thing and a happy time, but Ash is only 25 weeks. Her water broke and she was having contractions 2 minutes apart. Luckily she was able to get to the hospital and they were able to stop the labor. She will be stuck in the hospital until the baby comes, which could be anytime. The doctors are hoping she can last until the end of June which will make her 30 weeks. I am praying that she will last at least that long.

Test are being done to find out what is going on. Just please keep her, Chase and the baby in your thoughts and prayers for me. Thanks :)

ahhhh the JOYS of 2nd trimester...

It means I actually come alive again. I just hit my 14 weeks mark and am feeling MUCH better! It's funny because I wasn't nearly as sick as I was with the girls. With them I was throwing up all day everyday the entire first trimester. With this one, I have only barfed a few times. I mainly was EXTREMELY tired...really nautious (sp?) if I didn't eat and almost depressed feeling. I know I wasn't actually depressed, but I felt like it. I didn't want to do anything I loved to do ie: blog, take pictures, be around people...NOTHING. I haven't touched my computer much at all and had no desire. I am so glad it's over and have a hunch this one mught be a BOY!

We are totally settled in Orem and I LOVE it here!!!! LOVE! It has snowed like three times and I LOVE it. Coming from Vegas, where the only weather is HOT and sunny, it has been a nice change. It is so beautiful up here and I love our ward. (BUT WE TOTALLY MISS THE BUFFALO WARD!!!) :) You go down to a public office here and people are nice. They don't look at you like they want to kill you. ha We miss our friends, but have already made some great friends who have really made us feel at home. It has also been great living two minutes from Jason, Kattie and Cohen. We have had a great time.

The girls are so funny! They are getting so big and old. Sadie is talking up a storm. The other day we were talking about what she will take to school when she is old enough to go. She said she will take her pack pack and computer so she can do her work. ha Then she proceeded to tell Justin and I that the girls will pick the princess pack packs and the boys will pick the kill ones. We laughed to days on that one.

Jess has such a personality and such mind of her own. She is my early riser and that is not so great. :)

Here are a few pictures that I took. I am really rusty as I haven't even picked up my camera...but I love them. These girls are my babes.

If anyone still looks on this and even cares, I will post more...now that I am not a zombie anymore...we should have some fun things to write about :)

The Earls are.....

Yep. We found out yesterday morning. I was feeling pretty wierd and thought I should take a test. The first one malfunctioned, so I decided to wait a couple more days to see how I felt then. But when I had to pee again 20 minutes later...I had to take it. About 5 seconds later two DARK lines popped up. I of course started to cry and jumped out to scream at Just. This part is gross, but I left the test on the bathroom counter all day to make sure one of the lines didn't go away. Nope, I think it got darker. haha

We are so excited and definitely ready for baby #3. He/She will be due end on November early December (yes possibly another December birthday. ahhh!)

We have a big move in two weeks and a new baby on the way. Life couldn't be better!

THE EARLS ARE.........

I am sure some of you have already heard, but we are moving to Utah. Justin is going back to school and we are really excited and nervous! I have never ever lived out of Vegas and I am freaking out, BUT I know it will be fun and will be an adventure for our family!

We are looking at being there in March. So February will be a crazy busy month with packing things up, finishing sessions and saying goodbye. Whoa this is so weird!

I will be here and California monthly for sessions, so I guess you can call me the traveling photographer. haha.

I am thinking as a going away party, let's have a girls night out and go see He's Just not that into you! Anyone game?
