We Thank Thee O God For OUR Prophet

I am sure that all of you have heard and that most of you will post something on your blog, but I felt the need to post as well. Our dear prophet Gordon B. Hinkley passed away last night from old age, hard work and 100% dedication to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served so faithfully and whole heartedly. I cannot even imagine the things that he is seeing right now. When my friend Kim called me to let me know I got so emotional. I really couldn't believe it. It may sound silly, but I guess I just felt he was immortal. He was so vivacious even at his old age, I didn't think this day would come for a long while. I can tell you this though, that I know without a shadow of doubt that this church is true and that President Hinckley was a true prophet! He is really the only prophet I have known, listened to and have personally loved. I had the pleasure of meeting President Hinckley in person. When my grandparents were on one of their missions in Salt Lake they happened to be in his ward and the week we went he just happened to be there. He sat up front and I couldn't take my eyes off of him. Even in those years of doubt for me, I could not look at him and not know that he was a messenger of God. After church he shook everyones hands and the power in that old mans hands is something that I would never forget. Last night after contimplating what had happened, I felt the spirit so strong. I even made a comment to Justin about how much I felt the spirit right then. Usually when I feel the spirit I get very emotional, but last night it was a tru burning in my chest (something I have never experianced) It was truly amazing!

I know that he has been having a sweet reunion with his family who have been waiting for him. He is with his sweet loving wife.

I cannot wait for President Monson to be called. I love him and feel he will do an amazing job!

The Moment of Truth

So for all you American Idol fans the new season has started!!! YAY!!!! I usually am religious about watching it in the beginning and then taper off and then in the very end come back strong. :) But right now I am loving it! Well, I was doing some editing last night and after AI there was a show called The Moment of Truth. For those of you who haven't seen the ads for this show it is all about people take a liar detector test and are asked questions about anything and everything personal in their lives. With them they bring to the show three people in their lives. This show is horrible! While it may seem very entertaining, it is a garuntee to ruin families...while for what in return??? MONEY! It was rediculous. The first guy on there revealed that he is not having kids with his wife so soon because he doesn't know if he will be with her forver. He revealed that he has done things in his marraige that would cause his wife not to trust him. The host kept asking her if she wanted him to stop and she kept saying no, that she wanted him to continue...all for what....MONEY! Are you kidding me???? Yah, go ahead and ruin my marraige for money. Well, carma came around and he got caught lying and left with NOTHING. So for all of that, he has nothing to show for it. In the end he went up to his wife and tried to give her a hug and kiss and the camera's showed she was like disgusted with him. Yah lady, what the heck do you expect you kept pushing him to answer just so you could leave with some money in your pocket!!!! Man Satan, sure is working his way in any way he can. It's really sad. What value the world puts on money really makes me sick.

Just felt like venting. sorry

Hi everyone! Just popping in to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for the support and AWESOME comments you have left on my page with the wedding pics! Today I start school and I am SO nervous. I know really it might not be a big deal to some, but I was never very good at school stuff. But really, I think I will do fine since I actually want to be there and love what I will be learning about. I am only taking two photography classes so it won't be so bad, but seriously I have not been to school in over 5 years. Yikes...Well, wish me luck :)

Christmas in Ivins

This Christmas was the first Christmas that I wasn't holding a new born in two years. It was so weird not being pregnant this winter. Weird but very, very nice! :) So this year we went to my parent's house in Ivins, Utah. It was SO much fun. We had everyone there. Chris and Patience were down from San Fransisco. Ash and Chase were home from there honeymoon. Travis was actually not working and Aunt Annie came up from Vegas too! We had so much fun and ate waayyy too usual :) We played Phase Ten (my FAVORITE!) and then we all played Scene It. That was a blast and to all of our suprise Justin kicked butt at that game. Man he knows his movies :) Christmas morning was fun and the girls were spoiled of course. Thanks mom and dad for a great Christmas!!! Love you! Here are some pics from the fun day!
