Remedy to any Sickness

I was really sick last night and just haven't felt very good the past couple of days.....but, these guys will always make me laugh. This is my favorite one!!!

A Few Of My Favorite Things......

These are a few of our family favorites:

We LOVE Costco! You can't beat the prices! We always get our formula, wipes and diapers from there! A few things to look out for the next time you are there:

Pharmacy!!!- I was sick a couple of weeks ago and had to get two prescriptions filled. The total was $10.00. You can't beat that anywhere! Plus, you don't even have to be a member.

Kirkland Household Cleaning Wipes: I hate using rags, so these are perfect...use em then toss em. You can get three big containers for around $7.00 (I believe) And they have three different scents.

When I go the regular grocery store I always have to restock on this:

This salsa is sooooo good. Once you taste this you never be able to even look at Pace Pecante again!! It tastes just like the yummy salsa you get at the Mexican restaurants. I have seen it at Albertson's and Smith's, but I'm sure it's at every store. It is $3.29.

Slow churned is so great! I think it tastes just like the real stuff but not a fattening. We usually buy the regular vanilla and make yummy milk shakes (which are very fattening, so it defeats the purpose, but who cares, right?) It is $4.99.

When we really feel like splurging, we go for the Simply Orange Orange Juice. (EXTRA PULP...mmmmmm) Sometimes you can find it on sale for like $3.00 otherwise it's $4.49 (see what I mean...SPLURGING)

Lastly, we love Redbox at Smith's. You can rent as many movies as you want for only $1.00 per movie. Okay, $1.07 plus tax, but still not bad :) They have most of the latest new releases. Your best bet is to go www.redbox.com and you can see what movies they have at what locations. When you get there, just look for the BIG RED BOX! :)

Just to name a few........... :)

Going To The Chapel of Love

Okay, so more like the Temple of Love...but my little sister Ashley is getting married!!!! Her fiance is a great guy from So. Utah. Ashley and Chase are such a great couple and really fit well together. They let me come up and take some engagement shots. I was really nervous, but they turned out well and they really liked them. So....here are a few of my favorites! And a slideshow of the rest.

Question #1

About a year ago my mother-in-law taught a lesson to her Young Women at church. Her lesson was on journaling. In her lesson she handed out a packet with different topics to journal about if they couldn't think of anything. This blog has been the best journal I have ever had. When I try to actually write in a journal I can never think of anything to say and I HATE just writing, "Hi, I woke up today, got dressed, ate breakfast.......etc." BOOOOOORING!!! Anyways, she gave a packet to me (I have a few growing up, but never kept them) There are many different topics ranging from childhood memories, to tell about your family, to what you like to eat. So I thought that it would be fun to do a question on my blog, when I don't have anything cool to blog about. So here is the first question....

Q) Where do you like to go to eat out? What do you order?

A) One of my favorite things to do in life is to eat out. My husband hates it because whenever we are bored I suggest eating out. I expect to go out to eat EVERY weekend. I think it wastes soooo much of our money, but I just love it. I love going with big groups and just having a good time. I also am a chronic "repeat orderer". If I have found something I like, I usually get it EVERY time! I also love to try other peoples food. I know most people think it's gross, but I am always picking at peoples food. Sorry :) I always order way too much and totally overeat! And it's always fun getting the desert.

I always try to say let's go somewhere different to eat, but when it comes right down to it... I love the favs..
-BJ's (probably my favorite. I LOVE the Bar-B-Que Chicken Pizza, the dough is the best!!!) Pic - BJ's. photo taken by Nicole O.
-Outback. You just can't go wrong with a good steak and their garlic mashed potatoes!
-Fatburger. This may be fast food, but is soooo good and costs about as much a restaurant. Baby Fat with everything, but onions is just enough. Their chocolate shakes are AMAZING!
-Cafe Rio. I love their Pork tacos or their pork salad. I used to always eat their shredded beef burritos enchilada style, but my after baby body doesn't need any help.
-El Pollo Loco. OK, this is not my favorite, but Justin would trade his soul to be able to eat there everyday. He loves the El Pollo Bowl....extra spicy.

We go other places, but these are the restaurants we frequent the most.

NANNY 911

Last week I started my stay-at-home job. A couple of weeks ago my friend Heather called and asked if I could watch her son, Bentley, for a few hours while she went into work. Her husband Cory's sister usually watched him, but she couldn't do it that day. Heather called her mom and sisters, but nobody was available. She called me and asked and of course I said yes! She brought him over and he was such a doll. He is two and a half months old and still is soooo sleepy. Later that day she told me how Cory's sister couldn't watch him anymore and I told her I would be happy to do it! So last week I started and ti went really well! Like I said Little Bentley is such a good boy! It was very interesting having three babies in the house (well Sadie I guess isn't a baby anymore, but I still have to change her diaper and so she is a baby) :) It wasn't as bad as I thought it could be. The girls love him and Sadie is so sweet with him. I was washing the dishes and caught her kissing his head. Jessie on the other hand can be a little rough if she gets too close unsupervised, so I try and keep her at a distance. But they are very good with him! It has actually really been a blessing for me to have him in our home, and I'm glad I can help my friend too! It has shown me that it is possible to have three kids. We'll see how crazy it gets when he gets older and he is running around with the girls, but for now it is very nice.

Last week we did venture out with Missy to Target and that was kind of a disaster. Bentley slept the entire time, but we really looked like two teen moms that have way too many kids. I had to hold Sadie because she was going crazy and I was pushing my cart. Missy was holding Jessie whit her seat in her cart and Bentley in his seat in the big section of the cart. You can imagine what we looked like!

My hats off to all my friends who have three and four kids! You are brave souls!!!
