The Good Old Days - Barney Family

I am knee deep in a project restoring old pictures of my grandparents and I am just loving it. I love how pictures back in the 40's and 50's looked. So simple yet told the whole story. I am really having fun and thought you might like to take the trip back with me. This is my mother's side. Her parents are Mae and Kay Barney. They really are amazing. They have been on like four or five missions and they truly are saints. Such great examples of how I want to live my life. They have endured losing 3 children yet continue to know and share with others the importance of the Plan of Salvation.

Our grandpa Bandley's name is Kay and that is my middle name too. I love my grandparents too. Thanks for sharing.

I see a little bit of resemblance of you and your grandma.

My grandma is too funny. That's funny you see a resemblance. I will definitely take that as a compliment. :)

That is such a good idea. I've been trying to get all of our old photos scanned into the computer. Just that is such a feat. That is such a cute idea with the smilebox. I really wish that adapt that for mac users.

Kerri, it has been so fun restoring those pics and putting it to the smilebox. That is so stupid that macs won't take the program because macs are the bomb, but who knows. If you decide to restore I have a great program that fixes messed up old pics.
